Virgil Abloh is an American fashion designer, entrepreneur and DJ. He entered the world of fashion in 2009 with an internship at Fendi alongside Kanye West. The two began an artistic collaboration that would lead to Abloh founding Milan-based fashion house Off-White in 2013. In 2017, he was commissioned to design a new collection for Nike entitled "The Ten”, which consisted of re-designs by Abloh of the company’s best selling shoes. That year also saw a collaboration with IKEA on a series of furniture designs. In 2018, Abloh was appointed artistic director of Louis Vuitton's menswear collection, and Time magazine named him as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
